About Essence Festival

EFWeekend was started with the intention of helping new and seasoned travelers make the most of their trip to Essence Festival. The Essence Festival, known as the “party with a purpose” is the largest event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States. This site has also expanded  to making planning guides for other annual events focused on the urban/African-American culture such as the Cincinnati Music Festival and Soul Beach Music Festival.
